Is Ijaz Chaudry a Messenger of God?

Ijaz Chaudry claims to be a messenger of God in Islam. Ijaz believes his work is a continuation of Rashad Khalifa‘s work, having found further codes with the Quran’s mathematical Miracle of 19. Ijaz has authored several books and has also published a website http://al-muzzammil.com.

With proof from God in the Quran, there is overwhelming evidence that Ijaz Chaudry is a false messenger and should not be followed, if we wish to follow God’s Word alone.

The Purpose of the Miracle

With careful study of the Quran, we learn that the SOLE purpose of the mathematical Miracle of 19, is to confirm the scripture as per verse 3:81.

God took a covenant from the prophets, saying, "I will give you the scripture and wisdom. Afterwards, a messenger will come to confirm all existing scriptures. You shall believe in him and support him." He said, "Do you agree with this, and pledge to fulfill this covenant?" They said, "We agree." He said, "You have thus borne witness, and I bear witness along with you."

~ Quran 3:81

The Quran was structured mathematically by God to prove that the Quran is the Word of God, nothing more no if’s or buts. We still should be following God’s pure Word alone and nothing else. The 19 Miracle is just additional proof and an added layer that the Quran is a divine scripture from God.

No Authorization

If we are to believe God when He says that the Quran already has all the details (6:114) and that nothing is left out of the book (6:38), we cannot accept that the 19 miracle serves any other purpose except to confirm the scripture.

God authorized that the 19 miracle is in place to confirm the scripture (3:81), He never authorized that the 19 Miracle was intended to show us how to pray, or bring about new information or fill in missing words. The Quran is already complete from the day it was sent down, nothing additional can ever be justified and there was never anything missing that 1400 years later was meant to come out by code.

We have sent messengers before you - some of them we mentioned to you, and some we did not mention to you. No messenger can produce any miracle without God's authorization. Once God's judgment is issued, the truth dominates, and the falsifiers are exposed and humiliated.

~ Quran 40:78

Referring to verse 40:78, where can we find authorization from God that Ijaz is to carry out his work? There are no verses to confirm the coming of Ijaz, nor the duty of Ijaz, nor any extension of the 19 miracle. No reference in the Quran means no authorization from God.

Previous Miracles

When we abrogate any miracle, or cause it to be forgotten, we produce a better miracle, or at least an equal one. Do you not recognize the fact that God is Omnipotent?

~ Quran 2:106

Verse 2:106 explains that previous miracles are to be cancelled or forgotten about. Should we cancel out or overwrite all of Rashad’s work, which actually confirms the scripture as God designed, and instead put Ijaz‘s work in its place?

Verse 3:81

Ijaz believes he is continuing work from where Rashad left off, however if we take another look at verse 3:81, God clearly states that a messenger, that is only ONE messenger, will come after the prophets to confirm the scripture.

Rashad Khalifa brought the great mathematical miracle of 19 (74:35) to confirm God’s final scripture, the Quran. In Rashad’s time, the 19 Miracle served its purpose of confirming the scripture.

The Quran is Complete

The Quran has all the details (6:114) and nothing is left out of the book (6:38). If all the details are already in the Quran and nothing is left out of it, then there is no reason to go looking for any additional information that could potentially be strung along by code.

Verify

We cannot accept ANY information unless we verify it for ourselves (17:36).

You shall not accept any information, unless you verify it for yourself. I have given you the hearing, the eyesight, and the brain, and you are responsible for using them.

~ Quran 17:36

Can you verify that the 19 miracle is designed to add missing words to the Quran, or reveal new information and discoveries, or serve any other purpose aside from confirming the scripture? If we cannot verify this information against the Quran, then we must not accept it.

Follow the Messenger (Muhammad)

Yet another contradiction, Muhammad only followed what was revealed to him (the Quran), and we know God says to follow the messenger. If following another messenger (Ijaz) means follow all these additions he brought, then we would no longer be following what Muhammad followed, since Muhammad never had any additions or references alongside the Quran.

For example, there are 3 prayers specified in the Quran, each mentioned by name with clear start and end time frames. If we are to follow Ijaz’s code of 5 prayers and rakat, we would no longer be following the messenger (Muhammad) who was prescribed only 3 prayers per day in the Quran. In doing this, we would also be favoring Ijaz’s code for prayer above God’s Word in the Quran.

Anything outside of the Quran is not from God and must not be followed.

Judgement Day

Let’s put this into perspective. As an example, Ijaz claimed to find a long code which confirms 5 prayers per day and also how many rakat per prayer. On that note, Rashad also prayed 5 times a day with rakat's, due to finding code sequences. However, none of this was ever authorized by God in the Quran!

I will ask you this. If you were standing before God and He asked you: “How many times a day did you pray and why?” Would you feel confident in saying “I prayed 5 times a day, because a man named Ijaz/Rashad found a fancy code that showed the number of prayers per day and also how many rakat in prayer!”

Wouldn’t you feel more confident to say to God “I only found 3 prayers in the Quran, each having their specified start and end times as You stated. I could not accept that the 19 miracle suddenly unraveled 5 prayers over 1300 years later, since the Quran is complete without additional information needing to be attached to it.”

This indeed is a great test for us, to see whether we will side with God or follow the word of men.

Further Evidence

The following articles explain in detail how we can expose false calculations and determine which of the codes are from God vs which codes are not considered miraculous.

Conclusion

Throughout his work it becomes clear Ijaz Chaudry is in fact idolizing Rashad Khalifa. Rashad added notes in his English translation of the Quran, written in brackets among the verses. These notes are only Rashad's opinion of course. However, in analysis of Ijaz's work we find Rashad’s notes have been inserted into the Quran by code, in an attempt to prove his notes are part of the Quran. Ijaz claims that they are “missing words” of the Quran!

There is not a single missing word in the text of the Arabic Quran. The Quran is complete and there was never anything left out of it. To add words and phrases and attach them to many verses of the Quran, then consider it God’s Word, what an insult to God and a criminal offence. This is a clear grave sin.

Ijaz has aligned Rashad’s word with God’s Word, which cannot be concluded as anything but idolatry. Rashad’s words can never be the word of God, and we most certainly must not follow anything other than God’s Word.

Ijaz also copied Rashad's 5 daily prayers and found an impressive code to account for this. However, the way Rashad prayed was similar to those of the Sunni sect and not the 3 daily prayers prescribed to us from God in the Quran.

Ijaz has also abused the 19 code to justify rituals and religious practices that are not even found in the Quran!

Ijaz’s work might seem miraculous at a glance, but by studying the Quran closely his work cannot be justified in any way shape or form. All he is doing is tampering with the already perfect Quran, without any authorization from God.
