Is the Quran All We Need?
Quran Alone Studies
It is undoubtedly evident throughout the Quran that the Hadith and Sunnah are not part of the true religion of Islam. There is good reason why God allowed these fabrications to circulate, though we will not address this until later on.
There are many claims that Islam is not complete without the alleged sayings of Prophet Muhammad, that we must follow the hadiths or we cannot possibly be following the messenger, that the hadiths compliment the Quran, and are both equally important sources of guidance which go hand-in-hand. With careful analysis of the Quran, God in fact reveals the opposite of these claims.
Verse 7:185
Any argument for accepting Hadith and Sunnah as a source of religious guidance alongside the Quran is defeated in just one verse:
In what message after this will they then believe?
- Quran 7:185
The hadith followers dispute verse 7:185, claiming that God is addressing the disbelievers and those who reject the Quran, therefore God must be referring to a group other than them, since they are believers, not disbelievers, right? They uphold the Quran, so how can they be included in this verse?
Let's take a close look at this.
In what message after this will they then believe?
- Quran 7:185
By closely examining verse 7:185, we conclude “this” is in reference to the Quran, whilst “after” includes any messages that have come after the Quran, that the people will believe in and uphold by means of religious guidance. The Quran is God’s final revelation, there are no more scriptures, there is nothing after. Hadith and Sunnah are the only "messages" that God could possibly be referring to, that came after the Quran.
This verse cannot be directed towards the Jews or the Christians, nor any other religion for that matter, because no other religion went as far in their belief to even accept the Quran as a divine scripture, let alone anything that came afterwards. The Jews didn't accept anything after the Old Testament and the Christians didn't accept anything after the New Testament. This limits the targeted group, and evidently, can only be directed at false sects within Islam. God is undoubtedly warning us not to believe in any messages that have come after the Quran.
Verse 7:185 has been manipulated in order to achieve a certain meaning, such as: 'In what message instead of this will they believe?' This is direct proof that the hadith followers cannot acquire the true teachings of the Quran. This verse is not declaring that the Quran is being disregarded, but rather, emphasizing on messages that will come after the Quran that some will believe in. Simply, God has prophesized fabrications to come after the Quran that some people will uphold.
It is advised that one must take each verse for exactly what is stated, since God's words are chosen carefully and we must not take this for granted. One cannot rephrase a verse to achieve a certain meaning that suits their beliefs if they want true guidance from God.
In context, it is clear God is referring to the disbelievers who believe in the Quran, yet pollute their belief by also accepting further messages that have come after the Quran.
Which Hadith, beside this, do they believe in?
~ Quran 7:185
Instead of the words "after this," some translations have interpreted these words as “beside this.”
The word beside is defined as “in addition to,” “as well as” or “alongside.” So which Hadith in addition to the Quran do they believe in? Again, God can only be questioning sects within Islam, since He is referring to groups that uphold the Quran along with other sources at the same time. God ridicules those who do this.
Also note the two terms “beside this” and “after this” are synonyms of one another in the dictionary.
Regardless of which translation we refer to, God’s message is still the same. Those who accept further messages alongside the Quran cannot be counted as true believers in the sight of God.
Verse 45:6
In verse 45:6 God further explains that we should not believe in anything that came after the Quran.
These are the verses of Allah which We recite to you in truth. Then in what statement after Allah and His verses will they believe?
~ Quran 45:6
God is unquestionably mocking those who will uphold anything that specifically came after the Quran. It is a clear warning from God that we must not believe in any words other than His Word. Verse 45:6 also explains to us that His revelations are recited to us in truth, which is a hint to conclude anything that is not from God must be fabricated. People of all religions tend to forsake the word of God and uphold the words of men, though these verses are specifically targeting sects within Islam.
Verse 77:50
Then in what statement after the Qur'an will they believe?
~ Quran 77:50
Verse 77:50 could not be more straightforward. God clearly advises that nothing after the Quran should be believed in. Here God is mocking those who accept further messages after the Quran. Again, "they" is of course referring to the disbelievers. God's guidance alone is not sufficient for those who insist on following further messages that came after the Quran. We are commanded to believe in His revelations only, nothing after, and nothing else. It’s simple really, God’s revelations are all we need in order to attain salvation.
It is noteworthy to mention that God has prophesised the term Hadith by name in each of these three verses (7:185, 45:6 and 77:50). This can be proven even if we cannot read Arabic, by referring to the English transliteration of the original Arabic text.
English Transliterations
-
fabi-ayyi hadith in baAAdahu yuminoona ~ Quran 7:185
-
fabi-ayyi hadith in baAAda Allahi waayatihi yuminoona ~ Quran 45:6
-
Fabi-ayyi hadith in baAAdahu yuminoona ~ Quran 77:50
In each of the abovementioned verses, corrupt scholars have translated the word Hadith to mean “statement,” however, the word Hadith is an Arabic term which we do not translate when speaking or writing the English language. Never once have I heard a Muslim say that they are going to refer to the statement for guidance. they use the Arabic term Hadith! Corrupt scholars have purposely translated the word Hadith into "statement" because they simply cannot accept that the hadiths are not to be followed. Evidently, this proves the scholars put their own opinion and beliefs above God's Word, which is noticeable throughout their translations.
Throughout history multitudes of people have upheld the teachings of men in favour over God’s Word, which is no different to sects within Islam. It is extremely dangerous to pollute one’s belief in this way, if we are seeking to attain His forgiveness and approval in the Hereafter.
Quran Alone
The term “Quran alone” is in fact mentioned within the Quran.
And We have placed veils over their hearts so that they would not understand it, and deafness in their ears. And when you commemorate your Lord, in the Quran alone, they turn their backs in aversion.
~ Quran 17:46
Corrupt scholars have mistranslated verse 17:46 to mean “Lord alone” however when we refer to the Arabic in verse 17:46, it is clear that the term “Quran alone” is mentioned. So how can this be proven, if one does not understand the Arabic language? By using a handy tool online called Google Translate, we can compare the English to Arabic translation to God’s original Arabic text.
![proof1.PNG](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/885998_7416df20ada24e75a40e53d82f4a4122~mv2.png/v1/fill/w_682,h_228,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/proof1_PNG.png)
TABLE 1 - "Quran Alone"
![table1.PNG](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/885998_ac7a879ef4354ecc848e44c86a92b6a1~mv2.png/v1/fill/w_665,h_250,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/table1_PNG.png)
TABLE 2 - "Lord Alone"
![table2.PNG](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/885998_7db882b31f7a42729835bc412170e6a2~mv2.png/v1/fill/w_660,h_250,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/table2_PNG.png)
From this demonstration, it is evident that the term "Quran alone" is stated in His Book. When comparing Table 1 and Table 2 with verse 17:46, only the Arabic text in Table 1 is identical to the words of the Quran, an absolute perfect match. Note the English transliteration is also included in Google Translate as shown at the bottom of each table, which is also a perfect match. This is sufficient proof that God is siding with those who follow only the Quran and reject anything else.
Some argue that the Arabic language allows words to be placed in various orders, however they fail to reflect that God selectively chose Arabic as the perfect language for His final scripture, All-Knowing of the grammatical allowances of the Arabic language. The key word “alone" (wahdahu) is deliberately placed after the word “Quran” (al-quran) and not after the words “your Lord” (rabbaka). This can only be an intentional arrangement by God in order to convey a specific meaning. The Quran has direct and simple meaning with mostly straightforward verses, it is not just an arrangement of words that are subject to dispute. Verse 17:46 holds a specific, calculated meaning that is not open to change, where each word is collectively thought out. Would God really send down a book that is totally incomprehensible to the average human being?
Hadith followers insist that they trust their scholars and Imams to accurately translate the Quran to English, admitting they are content with following their leaders, rather than taking on the challenge of studying the Quran in-depth themselves. This is not a wise idea, because God is clear that we must each study the Quran carefully ourselves, and that we are responsible for using our own hearing, eyesight and brain.
Why do they not study the Quran carefully? Do they have locks on their minds?
~ Quran 47:24
I have given you the hearing, the eyesight, and the brain, and you are responsible for using them.
~ Quran 17:36
Keep in mind not a single scholar who translated the Quran was native in the Arabic language, therefore one must be extremely careful not to rely on their translations. From the demonstration of verse 17:46 it is evident that their translations are not trustworthy. Even just two words misplaced and the meaning of a verse can change in its entirety. Whether it is because these scholars aren't guided and can't obtain the true meaning, or whether they are unable to completely understand Arabic, it is most likely that they simply cannot accept the fact that only God's Word in the Quran alone should be followed.
Rather than solely relying on scholars to provide us with God's complete message, we should instead engage in our own studies while asking God to increase our knowledge. By devoting time and attention in this respect with efforts through study, we would also prove to Him that we are sincere in seeking the truth. As well as fulfilling our duty to study the Quran carefully with our own minds, to which God requires.
So let's take another look at verse 17:46.
And when you mention your Lord, using the Quran alone, they run away in aversion.
~ Quran 17:46
From the context of this verse, "you" refers to the believer who is preaching God using the Quran alone, whilst "they" is referring to disbelievers who run away in aversion. The term aversion is defined as hatred or strong dislike. So which is the group of disbelievers running away in aversion, as God has prophesized, when the Quran alone is used?
God is not speaking of the Christians or Jews, nor any other religion outside of Islam for that matter, because it would make no difference to them whether the Quran alone is preached, or the Quran and other sources. Their reactions and behavior would be the same. God could have chosen not to include the term "alone" in this verse, He could have just declared that the disbelievers run away when the Quran is used. However, God specifically emphasizes on the term alone, so there must be a great significance to this inclusion. It is indeed only sects within Islam who show a particular hatred towards those who preach using the Quran alone. It is God's Will, those who do this must remain in opposition.
Prophet Muhammad
God declares that Prophet Muhammad himself followed the Quran alone and nothing else.
And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who do not expect the meeting with Us say, "Bring us a Qur'an other than this or change it." Say, [O Muhammad], "It is not for me to change it on my own accord. I only follow what is revealed to me (Quran). Indeed I fear, if I should disobey my Lord, the punishment of a tremendous Day."
~ Quran 10:15
Say (O Muhammad), "I am not a novelty among other messengers, nor do I know what will happen to me or to you. I follow nothing other than what is revealed to me (Quran). I am no more than a clear warner."
~ Quran 46:9
Muhammad strictly followed the Quran alone, guidance from God, and nothing else. He followed only the revelations that were given to him from God.
Throughout the Quran we are advised to follow the messenger. Verses 10:15 and 46:9 are perfect examples which clearly explains what the messenger followed. So if Muhammad followed the Quran alone, then we must follow him and do the same. We must uphold the Quran alone and nothing else in order to confidently say that we are following the messenger. Those who follow sources in addition the Quran are not following what Muhammad followed.
Further, verse 2:97 proves Muhammad followed what was brought down to him (the scripture).
Say, "Anyone who opposes Gabriel should know that he has brought down this (Quran) into your heart, in accordance with GOD's will, confirming previous scriptures, and providing guidance and good news for the believers."
~ Quran 2:97
Also in verse 5:48 we are informed that Muhammad was to rule among the people in accordance with what God brought down (the Quran).
And We brought down to you the Book, truthfully, confirming what is present of the Scripture, and superseding it. So rule among them in accordance with what God has brought down (Quran), and do not follow their desires in place of what has come to you of the truth.
~ Quran 5:48
God's command to Muhammad to follow only what was revealed to him is clear in each of the verses above. To obey God and obey the messenger, we must follow the message of the messenger. We must follow the Quran, all the Quran and nothing but the Quran.
Many claim that what was brought down to Muhammad included the hadiths! However, it is clear from both verses 2:97 and 5:48 above that what was brought down to Muhammad also confirmed the previous scriptures and confirmed what the people already had. This proves God is only talking about His word within the scripture and does not allow for any additional words.
Further, Muhammad was warned not to issue any other teachings, or to falsely attribute anything other than the Quran to God, or he would incur severe punishment:
A revelation (Quran) from the Lord of the worlds. Had he (Muhammad) falsely attributed any sayings to Us, We would have grabbed him by the right, and We would have severed his aorta. None of you would be able to prevent it.
~ Quran 69:43-47
For anyone to claim that Muhammad left a second source of religious guidance for us, is in fact accusing the Prophet of disobeying God's commands in verses 69:43-47.

Do Not Follow Any Allies
In verse 7:3 God specifies that we must all follow what has been brought down from God (the Quran) but we must not follow any allies besides Him.
You shall all follow what has been brought down to you from your Lord and do not follow any allies besides Him. Rarely do you remember."
~ Quran 7:3
This is a strict commandment to follow the Quran alone and no other groups, individuals, or their sources.
The term allies is defined as: a person or organization that helps another in a particular activity. Whether they are associates, companions, friends, helpers, or supporters, we must not follow any allies besides God. Verse 7:3 is a clear warning to follow God alone and no one else besides Him. He also warns that rarely do we remember this!
"Do not follow any allies besides Him."
~ Quran 7:3
It is also noteworthy to consider the antonym of the key word "ally" to mean enemy or opponent. Thus, God is not referring to those who oppose His revelations, but rather, only those who appear to be in support of God. The key words "any allies" does not allow any exceptions for certain people or groups to be followed.
Religious leaders, Imams and scholars all believe that they are supporting God as well as helping the people with their Islamic research, debates, lectures and presentations. Regardless of whether or not they believe they are helping the community, none must be followed as per verse 7:3.
Corrupt scholars who have translated the Quran into English are notorious for attaching their opinions as notes below the verses and added text in brackets throughout their translations, thinking that they are helping the readers to understand the verses. Their opinions are not of any value in the sight of God and must be ignored.
Throughout history there are those who have determined which of the hadiths are false and which are deemed authentic. We cannot count on human judgment for our guidance, God warns us not to!
God commands us to follow the Quran, whilst we must not follow anyone who think they can be of help to the religion, if we do strive to be with the successful ones. If unclear on a certain matter, it is not wise to ask at our local mosque, but instead to refer to the clear guidance God has brought down to us. "Rarely do you remember" confirms the fact that most people who believe in the Quran fail to remember the important commandment not to follow anyone besides Him.
How do you Judge?
Many Muslims refer to the Hadith and Sunnah by means to judge in their affairs. However, this undertaking is in complete opposition to verse 6:114.
Shall I seek other than God as a judge, when He has revealed to you this book fully detailed? Those who received the scripture recognize that it has been revealed from your Lord, truthfully. You shall not harbor any doubt.
~ Quran 6:114
From the verse above it is crystal clear that the Quran is the only source of law that is authorized by God. He states immediately after "shall I seek other than God as a judge" that His Book is "fully detailed." From this information it becomes obvious that seeking other than God as a judge is directly based on upholding other sources where we would appear to find more details concerning the religion.
Many Muslims use volumes of books alongside the Quran when it comes to deciding on religious law, rules and regulations. The moment you refer to a book that is not from God and uphold it as religious knowledge, you have sought other than God as a judge. Now why would we do this, when we should be seeking only God as the judge?
It is noteworthy to consider that even contacting a scholar or Imam for advice in an attempt to gain religious knowledge, asking questions in mosques, or following the opinions of religious leaders, as well as parents, relatives or friends, is extremely dangerous seeing as one could be allowing others to judge. This is not an acceptable means of learning about the religion, unless they bring forth solid Quranic evidence. Those publicizing their opinions and conclusions regarding Islam cannot be trusted.
It is clear we are not required to look for details in any other book, after all, His scripture has all the details. Why seek other than God as a judge? The true believers are content with the Quran having all the details for a complete life guide, seeking only Him to judge in their affairs.
Verses 68:36-38
In verses 68:36-38 God mocks those who have other books to which they study in order to judge in their affairs:
What is wrong with you, how do you judge? Or do you have another book which you study? In it, you can find what you wish?
~ Quran 68:36-38
Another clear warning from God not to uphold any other book. His revelations alone are sufficient for our guidance.
The Quran has the Complete Details
It is a well known idea that the Quran does not hold the complete details, that the Quran specifies the foundation of rules and duties, while the Hadith and Sunnah complements the Quran to further elaborate, providing all the intricate details missing in the Quran. However, those who do not believe the complete details are in the Quran actually prove disbelief in many of His verses whilst lacking faith in God that His Word is the Truth.
God tells us He did not leave anything out of His Book.
We did not leave anything out of the book; then to their Lord they will be summoned.
~ Quran 6:38
His revelations hold the complete details.
A scripture whose verses provide the complete details, in an Arabic Quran, for people who know.
~ Quran 41:3
Shall I seek other than God as a judge, when He has revealed to you this book fully detailed?
~ Quran 6:114
This Quran could not possibly be authored by other than God. It confirms all previous messages, and provides a fully detailed scripture. It is infallible, for it comes from the Lord of the worlds.
~ Quran 10:37
The Quran has the details of everything.
In their history, there is a lesson for those who possess intelligence. This is not fabricated Hadith; this (Quran) confirms all previous scriptures, provides the details of everything, and is a beacon and mercy for those who believe.
~ Quran 12:111
Corrupt scholars have manipulated verse 12:111, claiming that the Quran providing the "details of everything" in this incidence, is limited only to the detail of the history of the previous messengers. With further investigation, we find this is a false conclusion when taking into account Chapter 12 in its entirety.
To further elaborate, at the start of Chapter 12 in verse 12:3 we read: "We narrate to you the most accurate history through the revelation of this Quran.." From this statement is clear that there are lessons in our history throughout this entire chapter. When we reach the final verse in this chapter, verse 12:111, and read: "In their history, there is a lesson for those who possess intelligence." It becomes clear that this is a closing statement for all of what we have learnt throughout Chapter 12. From this perspective, "in their history" is not directed to the words after the sentence but rather, only the verses before. The history of the messengers in question are specifically Joseph and his brother Jacob. "This (Quran) confirms all previous scriptures.." cannot possibly be limited to only Joseph's and Jacob's history!
In conclusion, the true believers can find the complete details of everything in the Quran. This is inclusive of all laws and having all the necessary details to fulfil the decreed worship practices. It is God's Will that many do not attain His complete message. Those who claim that any details are missing in the Quran have rejected His honourable Book and many of the verses above, before studying it in its entirety and before attaining a comprehensive understanding.
Explanations For All Things
God has provided an explanation for all things and every kind of example in the Quran.
We have brought the Book down to you providing explanations for all things plus guidance and mercy and giving news to the submitters.
~ Quran 16:89
We have cited for the people in this Quran all kinds of examples, but most people insist upon disbelieving.
~ Quran 17:89
We have cited in this Quran every kind of example, but the human being is the most argumentative creature.
~ Quran 18:54
We have cited for the people every kind of example in this Quran, that they may take heed.
~ Quran 39:27
The Quran gives us all the examples we need to know in order to progress our souls.
Since God has provided us with every kind of example, it is worth the mention He has given examples to all the different types of verses in His Book. He has specified that they are either clear and straightforward verses, while some verses hold multiple meaning, or can be allegorical.
He sent down to you this scripture, containing straightforward verses - which constitute the essence of the scripture - as well as multiple-meaning or allegorical verses. Those who harbor doubts in their hearts will pursue the multiple-meaning verses to create confusion, and to extricate a certain meaning. None knows the true meaning thereof except GOD and those well founded in knowledge. They say, "We believe in this - all of it comes from our Lord." Only those who possess intelligence will take heed.
~ Quran 3:7
God never mentions that some verses are subject to interpretaton or require further elaboration or external sources to make up for any apparent lack of detail. If He willed for the guidance to include Hadith and Sunnah, would it not be mentioned in verse 3:7, where we find listed all the types of verses that compose His final scripture?
Clear and Easy to Understand
God informs us that the Quran is clear, easy to understand and has no ambiguity.
A. L. R. These are the signs of the clear Book.
~ Quran 12:1
We have made it (the Quran) easy to understand and in your own tongue so that they may take heed.
~ Quran 44:58
An Arabic Quran without any crookedness.
~ Quran 39:28
Many Muslims are under the assumption that the Quran is unclear and difficult to understand, that it needs interpretation by way of the hadiths, and that we couldn't possibly understand the Quran without the hadiths. Why do the they believe all this? Because their scholars have convinced them that it is a difficult book to understand without the hadiths alongside it. This is simply their opinion to which the people have blindly followed.
Instead, God informs us that the Quran is a clear and complete book that is easy to understand.
So why do their scholars and religious leaders claim that the Quran is so hard to understand, when God has actually informed us of the opposite? It is easy to conclude that they are simply not given the understanding. God makes it clear only a select few are able to obtain the true message of the Quran, only those sincere in seeking the truth, only those who do good, only those who deserve the guidance. To most, the Quran is incomprehensible, which is the design of the Al-Mighty in order to prevent the disbelievers from acquiring the true guidance, while also preventing them from finding the right path.
The key to understanding the Quran is that we must have the willingness to study it ourselves with our own efforts and with sincerity in our hearts to seek the true message of the Quran. Many people prefer instead to follow their scholars and religious leaders while trusting that their studies are correct, rather than using their own minds. One must read the Quran unbiased and without any prior judgement in order to understand the verses clearly.
Examine All Words
The true believers are those who examine all words, then follow the best.
They are the ones who examine all words, then follow the best. These are the ones whom GOD has guided; these are the ones who possess intelligence.
~ Quran 39:18
So what makes His Word the best? How do we know if we are following the best words? The best is the most excellent and of the highest quality. God has set an example by the words of the Quran. For any words to be the best there must be no errors nor any contradictions, words that hold His protection that it cannot be altered or changed, words where no falsehood can ever enter it. The best is only the truth.
Can we really say the same about the hadiths?
Any words that do not match the supreme quality and high standards of His Word must not be followed, as per verse 39:18. God informs us that the true believers follow only the best word. The best comes from God alone. You could never even compare the words of God to the words of men.
Quran and Wisdom
Millions of Muslims insist that verse 2:151 allows for the hadiths to be followed, where God states that Prophet Muhammad was given the Scripture and wisdom, the Scripture being the Quran while the wisdom is found in the hadiths!
(Blessings) such as the sending of a messenger from among you to recite our revelations to you, purify you, teach you the scripture and wisdom, and to teach you what you never knew.
~ Quran 2:151
Let's analyze this claim in light of the Quran.
Firstly, the term wisdom is defined as a quality of having good knowledge and good judgement. God explains that wisdom is bestowed upon whomever He chooses:
He bestows wisdom upon whomever He chooses, and whoever attains wisdom, has attained a great bounty. Only those who possess intelligence will take heed.
~ Quran 2:269
We learn from the Quran that all of the prophets were given the Scripture and wisdom.
God took a covenant from the prophets, saying, "I will give you the scripture and wisdom. Afterwards, a messenger will come to confirm all existing scriptures. You shall believe in him and support him." He said, "Do you agree with this, and pledge to fulfill this covenant?" They said, "We agree." He said, "You have thus borne witness, and I bear witness along with you."
~ Quran 3:81
Such is God's guidance, with which He guides whomever He chooses from among His servants. Had any of them fallen into idolatry, their works would have been nullified. Those were the ones to whom we have given the scripture, wisdom, and prophethood. If these people disbelieve, we will substitute others in their place, and the new people will not be disbelievers.
~ Quran 6:88-89
It is clear all of the prophets were given the scripture and wisdom, Muhammad was no different to any other messenger.
There are many examples throughout the Quran that each of the prophets were given the knowledge and wisdom.
Jesus
"He will teach him the scripture, wisdom, the Torah, and the Gospel."
~ Quran 3:48
Joseph
When he reached maturity, we endowed him with wisdom and knowledge. We thus reward the righteous.
~ Quran 12:22
David
They defeated them by GOD's leave, and David killed Goliath. GOD gave him kingship and wisdom, and taught him as He willed. If it were not for GOD's support of some people against others, there would be chaos on earth. But GOD showers His grace upon the people.
~ Quran 2:251
Abraham
Are they envious of the people because God has showered them with His blessings? We have given Abraham's family the scripture, and wisdom; we granted them a great authority.
~ Quran 4:54
Lot
As for Lot, we granted him wisdom and knowledge, and we saved him from the community that practiced abominations; they were wicked and evil people.
~ Quran 21:74
David and Solomon
And David and Solomon, when they once ruled with regard to someone's crop that was destroyed by another's sheep. We witnessed their judgment. We granted Solomon the correct understanding, though we endowed both of them with wisdom and knowledge. We committed the mountains to serve David in glorifying God, as well as the birds. This is what we did.
~ Quran 21:78-79
Moses
"Then I fled, when I feared you, and my Lord endowed me with wisdom and made me one of the messengers.
~ Quran 26:21
The Scripture and wisdom go hand in hand. God's revelations contain a message that is full of wisdom, in terms of knowledge and good judgement.
God confirms further that the wisdom is found within the scripture:
These are the revelations that we recite to you, providing a message full of wisdom.
~ Quran 3:58
A. L. R. These (letters) are the proofs of this book of wisdom.
~ Quran 10:1
These (letters) constitute proofs of this book of wisdom.
~ Quran 31:2
And the Quran that is full of wisdom.
~ Quran 36:2
It is satisfactory that the wisdom God speaks of in verse 2:151 is in fact the wisdom found inside the Quran itself!
The Quran is a Book full of wisdom. There are plenty of examples where God has given Muhammad wise words to follow, all found within the pages of the Quran.
Verse 2:151 does not suddenly allow for any external sources to be followed!
God's Guidance
The only guidance that ever comes from God is His Scriptures, and never anything else. This theme is found throughout the entire Quran, examples are as follows:
O you who believe, you shall believe in God and His messenger, and the scripture He has revealed through His messenger, and the scripture He has revealed before that. Anyone who refuses to believe in God, and His angels, and His scriptures, and His messengers, and the Last Day, has indeed strayed far astray.
~ Quran 4:136
Many Muslims believe the Quran and Hadith are equal in form of guidance, however, God confirms only His testimony is the greatest, Muhammad is to preach the Quran to all the people.
Say, "Whose testimony is the greatest?" Say, "God's. He is the witness between me and you that this Quran has been inspired to me, to preach it to you and whomever it reaches. Indeed, you bear witness that there are other gods* beside God." Say, "I do not testify as you do; there is only one god, and I disown your idolatry."
~ Quran 6:19
The messenger has believed in what was sent down to him from his Lord, and so did the believers. They believe in God, His angels, His scripture, and His messengers: "We make no distinction among any of His messengers." They say, "We hear, and we obey. Forgive us, our Lord. To You is the ultimate destiny."
~ Quran 2:285
Then we revealed to you this scripture, truthfully, confirming previous scriptures, and superseding them. You shall rule among them in accordance with God's revelations, and do not follow their wishes if they differ from the truth that came to you. For each of you, we have decreed laws and different rites. Had God willed, He could have made you one congregation. But He thus puts you to the test through the revelations He has given each of you. You shall compete in righteousness. To God is your final destiny - all of you - then He will inform you of everything you had disputed.
~ Quran 5:48
It is clear no additional sources are authorized by God.
How to Corrupt Islam if the Quran Cannot be Changed?
Let's think about the previous scriptures for a second. The Torah and Gospel were tampered with throughout past generations. A collection of books now known as the Bible is no longer God's pure Word due to the falsehood that has entered it, to the point of severe corruption where the truth is now unrecognizable.
We can tell from this history and by the extent of the obvious corruption throughout the Bible, that there will always be enemies to God's Truth, seeking to corrupt the guidance. Of course this is all part of God's Master Plan, nevertheless it is on point to acknowledge what history has taught us regarding the falsehood entering into previous scriptures.
The only scripture that God has protected from corruption is limited to the Quran only, His final scripture meant for all of mankind to last unchanged until the end of time, with God's promise that He will preserve it (15:9).
By taking the past history into consideration, the only possible way to corrupt Islam is to put books alongside the Quran and proclaim that they are part of the religion. There is simply no other way to corrupt Islam, since God's final revelation is perfect and will always be perfect, and God never breaks His promise.
How Great are God's Revelations to You?
Let's take a moment to reflect on just how Great God truly is. We are merely just a speck within the universe compared to God who's Hand alone can encompass the entire 7 universes (39:67). God is the Al-Mighty, the All-Knowing, the Most Wise.
Now let's apply reason and logic for a minute. Would God really bring down a magnificent Quran, a safeguarded and protected Quran by God Almighty Himself, a special revelation from Him, only to be paired with volumes of corrupt and contradicting hadiths written from within a speck of His vast universes, known to be full of errors whereby there must even be an authenticity system in place to rule out the false and weak hadiths from the mix, all based on human judgment who are prone to making mistakes? That just doesn't make any sense at all!
Conclusion
Many people are tricked by Satan into following the words of men, instead of following the Word of God. They are then deceived into thinking that they are guided, in order to prevent them from finding the truth! They chose to disregard His revelations and instead follow their leaders and their idols.
Today, the majority of people put all trust in their religious leaders and scholars for information about the religion of Islam, such as laws, duties and prohibitions. Their understanding is dictated to them through scholars by the comments left throughout the translations they read. However, when studying the Quran carefully, it becomes evident their scholars are making numerous claims that go against the teachings of the Quran. We discover that they are actually arguing with falsehood in an attempt to defeat the truth which has mislead multitudes of people, because so many look up to them and follow them, trusting their judgment and interpretation, which is mostly based on mere opinion or untrusted sources, rather than the Quran itself!
Their arguments are discredited in the Quran. And God possesses the most powerful argument:
Say, "God possesses the most powerful argument; if He wills He can guide all of you."
~ Quran 6:149
When one can recognize ANY falsehood within a religion or sect, we can eliminate that religion or sect from being the truth, because God's religion is perfect. This is just common sense. The moment we can acknowledge there is a contradiction, a lie, or a falsehood, then it cannot be God's true religion as it is not based on complete truth. Imperfections are no substitute for the truth and must be recognized immediately. The truth does not allow any room for falsehood, and after the truth there is nothing except falsehood.
Such is God, your rightful Lord. What is there after the truth, except falsehood? How could you disregard all this?
~ Quran 10:32
God's pure Word alone is sufficient for the true believers.
Is God not sufficient for His servant?
~Quran 39:36
