The Ten Nights are NOT Related to Ramadan or Hajj!!

By the dawn, and ten nights, and the even and the odd, and the night as it passes: is there an oath in those for one with intelligence? 89:1-5

Sura 89 begins with God swearing by the dawn and the ten nights, which indicates that these ten nights are of great significance.

It has long been assumed that the ten nights are connected to Ramadan or Hajj. Some scholars think God is referring to the last ten nights of Ramadan, while others believe God is referring to the first ten nights of Zhu al-Hijjah.

The fact that the scholars cannot agree is a red flag in itself. The Quran is clear and easy, it is not a book full of guesswork.

Nowhere in the Quran are the last ten nights of Ramadan or the first ten nights of Hajj singled out to have any special significance! In fact there is absolutely nothing in the Quran that connects the ten nights to Hajj or Ramadan at all.

Since the Quran is a Book fully detailed, we must be able to find the details of the correct ten nights.

In close analysis of the Quran, we discover there is only one other verse where God mentions ten nights:

And We appointed for Moses thirty nights, and We completed them with ten. Thus, the term appointed by his Lord was completed in forty nights. Moses said to his brother Aaron, "Take charge over my people in my place. Act well, and do not follow the path of the corruptors." 7:142

Although we are informed in 2:51 that God “appointed Moses for forty nights”, God deliberately mentions the last ten nights separately in 7:142.

This can only mean that those ten nights are of great significance.

We learn from verses 7:144-7:145 that God spoke to Moses and gave him the tablets with God's words inscribed, then commanded Moses to uphold them strongly, and to command his people to do the same:

He said, "O Moses, I have chosen you over all people with My messages and My words. So take what I have given you and be among the thankful." 7:144

And We wrote for him on the tablets advice and details of all things: "So uphold it strongly, and command your people to uphold the best therein. I will show you the abode of the wicked." 7:145

Upon receiving the tablets and God's commands, Moses returned to his people, indicating that he received the tablets at the end of the 40 nights, or during the last ten nights.

What happened during those ten nights were indeed events of supreme glory and holiness. Moses spoke directly with God, which is an event never repeated with any other human being. He also received the tablets which were inscribed by God Himself, and in the presence of God,

The awesome glory of those ten nights explains why God deliberately mentioned them separately from the first 30 nights. It also explains why God swore by those ten nights in 89:2.

There is solid mathematical proof (code 19) that link the ten nights in 7:142 with the ten nights in 89:2, as follows:

  1. The ten nights are mentioned in 89:2. The digits of the Sura and verse numbers are 8, 9 and 2.
    8 + 9 + 2 = 19

  2. The common word between 89:2 and 7:142 is the word Ten. The Arabic word for Ten is “AShR”. The Gematrical value of this word is 70 + 300 + 200 = 570 = 19 x 30

  3. The positional location of the three numbers (thirty, ten and forty) in verse 7:142 carry special significance. The word thirty is the 3rd word in the verse, the word ten is the 6th word and the word forty is the 10th word. The positions of the three numbers are 3, 6 and 10.
    3 + 6 + 10 = 19

  4. Using the Sura and verse numbers (7 142 and 89 2), the number of Arabic letters in the word Ten which is 3, and the Gematrical Value of the word Ten, which is 570.
    7142 892 3 570 = 19 x 3759417030

  5. If we add these numbers instead, we also get a multiple of 19:
    7142 + 892 + 3 + 570 = 8607 = 19 x 453

  6. We also find that the position of the word Ten in both verses is coded with other variables: The word Ten is the 6th word in 7:142. The word Ten is the 2nd word in 89:2. If we insert the positions of the word Ten in the 2 verses (6 and 2) after the numbers of the 2 verses we get yet another multiple of 19:
    7142 892 6 2 3 570 = 19 x 375941717030

  7. Another Variable within the data of these two linked verses is the number of words in each of the two verses: The number of words in 7:142 is 23. The number of words in 89:2 is 2.
    7142 23 892 2 3 570 = 19 x 3759073117030

These numerical signs cannot possibly be coincidental as they share a number of features, providing us with an unmistakable link between the ten nights in these two verses.

In summary, the ten nights God swore by in 89:2 are the same ten nights in which God spoke to Moses and in which Moses was given the tablets inscribed by God Himself, a momentous event in the history of mankind.

Peace & God Bless
