Are you Idolizing Rashad Khalifa?
The Purpose of the Miracle
Rashad Khalifa was the messenger of the covenant who brought the Quran’s mathematical Miracle of 19.
With careful study of the Quran, we learn the SOLE purpose of the 19 Miracle is to confirm the scripture:
God took a covenant from the prophets, saying, "I will give you the scripture and wisdom. Afterwards, a messenger will come to confirm all existing scriptures. You shall believe in him and support him." He said, "Do you agree with this, and pledge to fulfill this covenant?" They said, "We agree." He said, "You have thus borne witness, and I bear witness along with you."
~ Quran 3:81
The Quran was structured mathematically by God to prove that the Quran is the Word of God. We STILL should be following God’s pure Word alone, nothing more no if’s or buts. The 19 Miracle is just additional proof and an added layer that the Quran is a divine scripture from God.
If we are to believe God when He says that the Quran already has all the details (6:114) and that nothing is left out of the book (6:38), we cannot accept that the 19 miracle serves any other purpose except to confirm the scripture.
Part of confirming the scripture includes it’s preservation:
Absolutely, we have revealed the reminder, and, absolutely, we will preserve it.
~ Quran 15:9
This plays a big part in Rashad’s discovery.
No Authorization
While God’s mathematical miracle is awesome, Rashad made a few erroneous claims that may mislead people from the path of God.
For example, Rashad presented that there are 5 prayers, he prayed similar to the way the Sunni’s pray. However, there are only 3 prayers specified in the Quran, each mentioned by name with clear start and end time frames.
He also alleged the amount to give for Zakat is 2.5%, however God never specifies the exact amount to give to charity, but rather, that we should give in moderation (25:67).
Let’s remember, God only authorized that the 19 miracle is in place to confirm the scripture. He never authorized that the 19 Miracle was intended to show us how to pray, or discover new information.
If you follow Rashad’s 5 prayers then you have disregarded many verses of the Quran. If you believe the amount to give to charity is 2.5% then you are not following God's religion in the Quran alone.
The Quran is Complete
We must believe God when He states the Quran has all the details (6:114) and nothing is left out of the book (6:38).
If all the details are already in the Quran, then there is no reason to go looking for any additional information that could potentially be strung along by code. The Quran was already complete from the day it was sent down, nothing additional can ever be justified. There was never any missing information that 1400 years later was meant to come out by code.
What about all the people throughout those times? It would be bit unfair if they didn’t know there were 5 prayers confirmed by God in the Quran, or know the number of rakat's in prayer!
Can We Verify It?
We cannot accept ANY information unless we verify it for ourselves:
You shall not accept any information, unless you verify it for yourself. I have given you the hearing, the eyesight, and the brain, and you are responsible for using them.
~ Quran 17:36
Can you verify that the 19 miracle is designed to reveal new information, or serve any other purpose aside from confirming the scripture? If we cannot verify this information is in the Quran, then we must not accept it.
Follow the Messenger (Muhammad)
Yet another contradiction, Muhammad only followed what was revealed to him (the Quran), and we know God says to follow the messenger. If accepting the 19 miracle means to follow these additions in Rashad’s work, then we would no longer be following what Muhammad followed!
Muhammad never had any additions or references alongside the Quran, so we shouldn’t either!
If we are to follow Rashad’s code of 5 prayers and rakat, we would no longer be following the messenger (Muhammad) who was prescribed only 3 prayers. In doing this, we would be favoring Rashad’s work above God’s Word in the Quran.
Conclusion
Please remember, anything outside of the Quran is not from God and must not be followed. Those who have chosen to put Rashad’s work above God’s Word in the Quran are in fact guilty of idolizing him, as this is a religion different to God’s religion in the Quran.
Satan plays many tricks in order to deceive and lead us away from the right path.
We place shields around their minds, to prevent them from understanding it, and deafness in their ears. And when you preach your Lord, using the Quran alone, they run away in aversion.
~ Quran 17:46
Are you following God’s Word in the Quran Alone?
