Our Natural Instinct Proves Which is the Correct Religion!!
God teaches us in the Quran that the natural instinct instilled in the human being is the religion of monotheism; that there is only One God.
So direct your face towards the religion as a monotheist. Such is the natural instinct that God instilled in the people. There is no changing the creation of God. Such is the correct religion, but most people do not know. 30:30
The term natural instinct is defined as: A way of behaving, thinking, or feeling that is not learned: a natural desire or tendency that makes you want to act in a particular way.
If it was just the human being observing the world in front of him, without any distractions, he would naturally conclude that there is One Almighty God running everything.
When we add the volumes of religious texts, the falsifiers spreading misinformation and the numerous sects and doctrines, most are distracted away from their natural instinct. Not to mention Satan has many tricks to deceive and mislead people from the straight path.
It is significant that God has mentioned this in 30:30, that He instilled Monotheism within us, as we can distinguish the falsehood by tuning in to our instincts.
In Christianity, would our instincts sense that God had a son?
Or that God is a third of a trinity?
Or that we should pray in Jesus’s name?
Or that a human being died for our sins?
In Islam, would we naturally conclude that Muhammad’s name should be added to a testimony of faith or our Salat?
Or that a prophet can save us from God’s punishment?
Or to follow texts written by other than God to use as religious guidance?
None of these ideas make any sense if we tune in to the feeling instilled within us. Even at times of adversity, the human being instinctively calls on God alone and forgets the idols they set up beside Him:
If you are touched by some harm in the sea, those whom you call upon vanish except for Him. But when He delivers you safely to the shore, you turn away. The human being is ever ungrateful. 17:67
God asks us to reflect upon creation and use our own minds, which would naturally lead us to use our instincts.
Those who remember God while standing, sitting, and on their sides, and they reflect upon the creation of the heavens and the earth: “Our Lord, You did not create this in vain, glory to You, so guard us against the punishment of the Fire. 3:191
Will they not look at the camels, how they were created? And to the sky, how it was raised? And to the mountains, how they were erected? And to the earth, how it was spread out? 88:17-20
We are destined to fail if we follow our parents or religious leaders blindly and ignore our instincts.
Those who truly reflect upon God’s creation while trusting their instincts will surely find the straight path.
